Episode 7 recap

Isabella Vance enters Serena Sterling's meeting at Aegis Group to plead for emergency funding after losing all financial backing. Meanwhile, Victor Cross arrives at the building by helicopter and hears about Isabella's visit. Serena refuses Isabella's offer of company equity and leaves to meet the incoming boss. Isabella tries to pitch the top leader directly. The doors open, and Victor walks in to executive bows, leaving Isabella kneeling in shock.

  1. 00:00: Isabella Interrupts Serena's Meeting

    Isabella Vance barges into a conference room at Aegis Group during Serena Sterling's meeting. She begs Serena for emergency financial assistance. She explains that all funding for Vance Technologies has stopped and she has nowhere else to look for cash.

  2. 00:19: Victor Lands on the Helipad

    Victor Cross steps off a helicopter onto the rooftop helipad. His assistant walks beside him and explains the situation inside the building. The assistant reports that Isabella is currently waiting in Serena's office, pleading for corporate help.

  3. 00:38: Serena Rejects the Vance Deal

    Inside the conference room, Isabella offers Serena a fifty percent stake in Vance Dynamics. Serena bluntly rejects the proposal and calls the company worthless. She dismisses Isabella on the spot and exits to welcome the arriving chairman.

  4. 00:56: Isabella Plans Her Next Pitch

    Isabella Vance stands near the hallway and realizes Serena answers to a higher authority. She decides to bypass Serena entirely. Isabella resolves to approach the true owner of Aegis Group in person to beg for financial support.

  5. 01:04: The Chairman Steps Inside

    The boardroom doors open wide as Victor Cross strides into the room. Serena Sterling and the other executives bow low to greet him. Isabella Vance freezes and drops to her knees in disbelief as she sees her ex-husband.
