Episode 5 recap

Kyle clutches Aurelia and reaches a sheer drop above the blaze. Two mounted soldiers emerge from the smoke to claim his bounty for the Lord. Instead of backing down, Kyle summons Aurelia's power, turning his arm into molten dragon armor. He catches an incoming spear, throws the first rider, and slams the second soldier down. The weapon vanishes, leaving Kyle spent just before the stone ledge breaks beneath them both.

Episode 5 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Trapped at the Cliff

    Kyle carries Aurelia toward the cliff edge above the raging fire. Two mounted guard knights ride forward through the smoke and block his escape. Kyle holds the young dragon close and stops at the drop.

  2. 00:16: Molten Arm Transformation

    Facing the two riders, Kyle decides to stand his ground. He speaks to Aurelia and asks for her strength. His right arm ignites with heat, shifting into a glowing molten dragon gauntlet right before his enemies.

  3. 00:24: Catching the Polearm

    The first knight rushes forward on his mount with a leveled polearm. Kyle stands firm, grabs the pointed shaft with his bare dragon hand, and heaves the armored rider straight out of his saddle.

  4. 00:33: Smashing the Second Knight

    The second guard charges Kyle with a glowing sword charged with energy. Kyle intercepts the strike with his armored forearm and delivers a heavy counterattack, knocking the soldier flat onto the dirt.

  5. 00:53: Plunge into the Void

    The fight ends and the fiery armor fades from Kyle's arm, draining his energy. Suddenly, the cracked rock beneath his boots fractures completely, dragging Kyle and Aurelia down into the deep chasm.

“Run. Go on, nowhere to go. The Lord wants your head, I'll give it to him myself.”

Guard knight · A mounted soldier corners Kyle at the edge of the blazing cliff.

“Then I die fighting. But I'm not going alone. Not this time. Never again. Aurelia, give me everything.”

Kyle · Kyle refuses to surrender and calls on his baby dragon companion for help.

“What the hell? That's— that's not— you're not human.”

Guard knight · The guard reacts in terror after Kyle's arm transforms into molten dragon armor.

“Oh, crap.”

Kyle · Kyle feels the rock ledge crumble underneath his feet right after the fight.

How Episode 5 Ends

Kyle collapses from exhaustion after his flaming gauntlet vanishes. Before he can catch his breath, the ground shatters underneath him. Kyle and the baby dragon fall over the edge into the dark abyss below. Can Kyle and Aurelia survive a drop from this height, or will the fall finish what the guards started?
