Outside the restaurant, Nora Hayes mocks Peggy Hayes for bragging about a business deal with Sterling Group. Eleanor Sterling laughs along and accompanies Nora, Noah, and Ruby inside. At the dining table, Noah expresses relief over cutting family ties. Eleanor promises Nora her backing in the city. The peaceful meal ends abruptly when Grant Walker and Peggy march into the restaurant. Grant announces that a bracelet vanished, and Peggy accuses Nora of stealing it.

    The restaurant doors swing open as Peggy storms into the dining room alongside Grant Walker. Grant declares that Paige's bracelet has gone missing. Peggy walks directly up to the table, confronts Nora, and loudly asks if Nora stole the missing jewelry.
