Nick presents a handwritten apology note from Selena to Ella, insisting that having her clean stairs is enough punishment. When Ella demands accountability for the physical abuse she suffered, Nick dismisses her pain to protect Selena. Having reached her limit, Ella smashes their wedding photo and kicks them out. She answers a call from Kane, leaves the bedroom, turns in her identity token at the gate, and walks away, ignoring a final message from Nick.

  1. 00:00: Nick defends Selena's abuse

    Nick presents a handwritten apology note from Selena to Ella, insisting that having her clean stairs is enough punishment. When Ella reminds him of the whipping and the stairs incident, Nick dismisses her pain to defend Selena, claiming her wrist is sore.

  2. 01:14: Ella answers the phone

    Ella retrieves her phone from the bed and answers a call. Kane asks her why she has not arrived yet. Ella tells him that she encountered some trouble but promises that she will be there shortly.

  3. 01:25: Ella abandons the pack

    Ella arrives at the gate at night. She ignores a text from Nick about a gift. She hands her identity token to the guard, effectively cutting ties with the pack. Nick reaches the gate and shouts her name in panic.
