Ella wakes up in the hospital with burns, and Linda tells her Kane stayed with her overnight. Selena sends Ella a video of Nick licking Selena's silver water burn and professing his feelings. Squeamish and angry, Ella calls the Blackstone Tribunal to report the attack. Nick visits to scold Ella for filing charges and offers a small gift. Ella throws it back, tosses their contract to Nick, and terminates their bond.

Episode 5 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Waking Up in the Hospital

    Ella wakes up in a hospital bed with thick bandages covering her face and neck. Linda hands her a glass of water. She tells Ella that Kane brought her to the clinic, watched over her all night, and recently stepped out.

  2. 00:44: Selena's Video Message

    Ella picks up her phone and opens an incoming video from Selena. On the screen, Nick licks a silver water burn on Selena's chest. He tells Selena aloud that he cares about her more than he cares about his wife.

  3. 01:21: Reporting Selena's Attack

    Nauseated by the clip, Ella retches into a basin. She immediately dials the Blackstone Tribunal on her phone. Ella formally reports Selena for intentionally throwing silver water at her during the poolside party to face legal consequences.

  4. 01:44: Nick Defends Selena

    Nick walks into the room and lectures Ella for contacting the tribunal. He defends Selena as a powerless Omega who lacks pure wolf blood. He mentions he gave Selena a three-day ban and drops a small present on Ella's blanket.

  5. 02:29: Severing the Mate Bond

    Ella hurls the present back at Nick in fury. She pulls out their marriage contract and flings it at his chest. Ella announces that she is no longer his mate or Luna as the document glows with bright magic.
