Guards drag Chiara Vitale into a cold cellar and chain her down. Dante Moretti coldly tells her she can be replaced and leaves her pleading. Chiara recalls a banquet where Isabella deliberately stains her dress, prompting Chiara to slap her. Salvatore Vitale coddles Isabella while Dante orders Chiara to kneel. Chiara runs into the rainy street, where a car strikes and kills her. She suddenly wakes up in bed before her wedding.

Episode 1 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Chained in the Cellar

    Guards drag Chiara Vitale into a damp dungeon and chain her to a wooden chair. Dante Moretti coldly tells her that her marriage title can belong to someone else. He walks away while Chiara begs him to stay.

  2. 00:51: Humiliation at the Banquet

    At a formal banquet, Isabella provokes Chiara and spills a drink across her gown. Chiara strikes her across the face. Salvatore Vitale rushes to comfort Isabella, and Dante demands that Chiara drop to her knees and apologize.

  3. 01:37: Fatal Crash in the Rain

    Chiara flees the party into the dark, rainy night. Her high heel snaps on the pavement. She kicks off her shoes and runs blindly into oncoming traffic, where a speeding car strikes her and ends her life.

  4. 01:57: Waking Up Before the Vows

    Chiara gasps for air and sits upright in her own bed. She looks across the room and notices her untouched bridal gown mounted on a mannequin. She realizes she has returned to the days before her wedding.
