Episode 5 recap

Freya mistakes Julian Locke for Gavin while riding in his car and explains she already secured Gavin's shares for their divorce. Later at a mall, Gavin tries to give Freya gifts, but she rejects him and walks away. Evelyn spots them, fakes illness to pull Gavin away, and hires two women to ambush Freya. In the restroom, the attackers inject Freya with drugs and cut her wrist while Julian Locke tries to break in.

  1. 00:00: A Confession in the Car

    A dazed Freya clings to Julian Locke inside his moving vehicle, mistaking him for Gavin Grant. When Julian asks why she stays married, Freya explains she already filed for divorce and tricked Gavin into signing away his company shares. Julian smiles and embraces her.

  2. 00:44: Rejection in the Mall Lobby

    Gavin Grant waits in the mall with shopping bags, attempting to appease Freya Vaughn. Freya ignores his peace offerings and heads directly toward the public restroom. Across the lobby, Julian Locke arrives for a scheduled building inspection and watches the interaction.

  3. 01:23: Evelyn Plans an Ambush

    Evelyn Shelby watches Gavin Grant try to speak with Freya Vaughn. Furious, Evelyn telephones hired thugs to stage an attack. She immediately fakes severe stomach cramps, prompting Gavin to abandon Freya and rush Evelyn to the hospital instead.

  4. 01:55: Julian Locke Takes Notice

    Julian Locke's male assistant remarks on the chaotic situation and asks if Julian is worried about Freya Vaughn. Julian watches the hallway and firmly states that no one will be permitted to get hurt under his supervision.

  5. 02:14: The Restroom Attack

    Two disguised women trap Freya Vaughn inside the restroom. They overpower her, inject a yellow liquid into her neck, and slash her wrist with a blade. Freya collapses onto the floor while Julian Locke kicks at the locked door.

Will Julian manage to break into the room in time to stop the bleeding, or will Evelyn's brutal scheme claim Freya's life before help arrives?
