Freya Vaughn arrives at the office to celebrate her third wedding anniversary with Gavin Grant. Colleagues greet her with flowers and confetti. Freya walks to Gavin's office and catches him kissing his assistant Evelyn Shelby. Evelyn pulls off Gavin's wedding ring. Freya films them, throws away her flowers, and removes her ring. She conceals a divorce agreement under standard business documents, and Gavin signs the papers without realizing what is underneath.

Episode 1 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: A Text in the Lobby

    Freya walks into the lobby carrying a surprise for Gavin on their anniversary. Her phone buzzes with a message from him. Gavin texts her to stay away from the office, claiming his work schedule is completely crazy.

  2. 00:09: Anniversary Confetti on the Floor

    Freya steps onto the office floor. Her colleagues surprise her with a shower of colorful confetti. They hand her a bouquet of champagne roses to celebrate her third wedding anniversary with Gavin Grant, the company president.

  3. 00:33: Betrayal Behind Closed Doors

    Freya looks through the office window and sees Gavin holding and kissing Evelyn. Evelyn slides the wedding ring off Gavin's finger. Freya records the whole scene on her mobile phone, walks over to a trash can, and dumps her flowers inside.

  4. 01:24: Hiding the Settlement Agreement

    Freya takes off her own wedding ring. She hides a Divorce Settlement Agreement directly underneath a stack of business documents. Gavin walks toward her holding the anniversary bouquet he pulled out of the trash.

  5. 01:54: Signing at the Desk

    Evelyn steps in and demands approval rights in her role as Gavin's new assistant. Freya completely ignores Evelyn's demand. She hands the paperwork directly to Gavin, and he agrees to put his signature on the papers on the spot.
