   A nurse strikes an injured Ava Sterling with an electric baton inside Blackwood Psychiatric Hospital. Ava falls to the floor from the repeated shocks. She loses her remaining strength and dies alone on the cold ground.

   After dying, Ava enters the Soul Store and meets the Shopkeeper. She signs a contract to trade away her ability to love in exchange for another life. Flames suddenly engulf Ava right after she finalizes the deal.

3. 00:23: Awakening in the Sterling Mansion

   Ava opens her eyes on the second-floor hallway at age seventeen. Ethan Sterling takes hold of her arm. Ava remembers how Ethan slapped her across the face in her previous life, so she pulls her hand back from him.

4. 01:22: Arrival of the New Sister

   Richard and Claire Sterling walk through the front doors with Luna. Ethan runs downstairs to greet them. Ava stands alone at the top of the stairs, looking down at the four of them with a calm, numb chest.
