Episode 1 Scene by Scene

1. 00:00: Ambush in the Grand Tent

   Umo stabs Torin in the chest during a sudden mutiny. Torgan runs inside and attacks the traitors. Torin shoves Umo away, overturns a heavy table to block the doorway, and orders Torgan to run away with his mother.

2. 00:44: Flight Through the Burning Camp

   Flames consume the camp as enemy warriors strike. Torgan helps Serrah mount a horse to escape. An enemy arrow strikes Serrah in the shoulder, but she stays on the horse as they gallop out into the wilderness together.

3. 00:59: Umo Claims the Pastures

   Umo steps outside the chieftain's tent and stomps on the fallen clan banner. He tells his men that the land needs a new leader. He orders his mounted cavalry to hunt down Torgan and bring him back alive.

4. 01:14: The Mountain Chase

   Black-Hoof riders track Torgan and Serrah through the wild grass. The archers deliberately aim at the dirt in front of the running horse's hooves. They force the fleeing pair along a narrow path directly into the mountains.

5. 01:42: Defiance at the Shrine

   Their horse falls near bone arches at the altar. Enemy cavalry corners them. The captain demands Torgan submit to save Serrah. Torgan refuses to bow, jamming his dagger into the stone. The altar and Serrah's arm mark turn red.

6. 02:44: Awakening from the Chasm

   Violent tremors rock the ground, frightening the enemy horses. The cavalry captain screams for his squad to fall back. The canyon floor rips wide open, and two glowing fiery eyes appear through the thick smoke in the deep chasm.
