Episode 4 recap

Serena asks Dalia if she is truly the Black Dragon King's mate. Dalia gets angry and insists he will marry her. In fury, Dalia grabs Serena's dragon horns and breaks them off one by one. Serena screams and passes out from the pain. Dalia dumps cold water over Serena to wake her. She touches Serena's abdomen, planning to steal her dragon core, then targets the heart-protecting scale on her chest.

Episode 4 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Questions About the Mate Bond

    Serena asks Dalia why she calls the Black Dragon King her husband. She questions whether the two of them have actually become mates. Dalia loses her temper and shouts that no one else is worthy of him.

  2. 00:27: Dalia Breaks Serena's Horns

    Dalia grabs Serena's dragon horns. She snaps them off Serena's head one after the other. Serena screams in agony and collapses unconscious. Serena demands her horn back as Dalia holds the broken pieces.

  3. 00:56: A Plot for Nine Tails

    Dalia splashes a basin of cold water directly onto Serena's face to revive her. Dalia touches Serena's abdomen. She states that taking Serena's dragon core will elevate her bloodline and allow her to grow nine tails.

  4. 01:49: Targeting the Dragon Scale

    Dalia places her hand onto Serena's chest. She notes the strength of the heart-protecting scale. Dalia plans to rip out this scale and use it to craft protective armor for her mother.

How Episode 4 Ends

Dalia holds Serena's severed dragon horn and aims it straight at Serena's chest. She threatens to rip out the heart-protecting scale right there. Serena remains completely trapped and defenseless in front of her tormentor. Will Dalia pierce Serena's chest and take the scale, or will someone arrive in time to stop the attack?
