Episode 1 recap: Welcome to Maplewood
Cody Calloway arrives at Maplewood Reform School. Headmaster Gideon Price presents him with a choice: graduate or serve ten years in prison. The rules are strict, and homosexual activity results in immediate expulsion. While touring the campus, Cody meets Beckett Hayes, the school's golden boy. Beckett is assigned to show Cody the ropes. During their first interaction, Beckett lifts Cody’s chin and leans in close, acting as if he will kiss him, only to pull away and laugh.
