Episode 8 recap

Walter brings Victoria a phone recovered from a guest room drawer. Victoria watches Adrian's old video logs of solo anniversaries and holidays. In his room, she finds a wall covered in notes detailing her daily care. When she begins tearing them down, Walter presents a hand-drawn fifth anniversary trip she once canceled for Julian Ross. In the middle of the night, acute cramps wake Victoria, and she collapses without medicine or help.

    Victoria enters Adrian's bedroom and discovers sticky notes covering an entire wall. Adrian wrote her daily schedules, breakfast instructions, and dietary restrictions on them. Victoria furiously pulls them down, while Walter pulls out Adrian's illustrated fifth-anniversary vacation plans that she abandoned for Julian Ross.

    During the night, Victoria jolts awake with sharp abdominal pain. She searches her nightstand, but the stomach pill bottle sits completely empty. With nobody beside her to offer care or fetch water, Victoria clutches her midsection and drops beside the bed.

As she writhes on the floor in physical agony, can Victoria survive the night on her own, or will this sudden medical crisis force her to seek out her missing husband?
