   Ember describes her daily life as a wingless slave in the Dragon Realm. Guards force her to dump burning coals and molten sulfur down into a restricted pit, torturing an unseen prisoner while she struggles with horror over the daily brutality.

3. 00:58: The Overseer's Whip

   Standing beside the edge, Ember pauses before emptying another heavy container. The Overseer yells at her and strikes her with a dragon-aura whip. The painful blow forces Ember to dump the glowing coals directly down into the dark abyss below.

4. 01:17: Starving for Secret Rations

   Back in the slave quarters, nightmares of fire haunt Ember through the night. She decides to starve herself for three full days. By skipping her own meals, she manages to collect and hide six rations of dry bread in secret.

5. 01:41: Lowering Bread into Darkness

   Ember slips out into the moonlight carrying a rope and a basket packed with bread. She approaches the restricted pit in silence and drops the basket down. A sudden jerk on the line pulls the food away into the black depths.

6. 02:24: Eyes in the Pit

   Ember turns to flee into the night, but a deep voice calls out from the pit. She stops near the ledge as two molten-gold eyes snap open in the blackness, asking who she is after eating the saved bread.
