Bystanders on the street whisper after learning Seraphina Vale is Damian Lockwood's intended bride. Damian and Celeste Rourke scoff at her weak aura and call her a stray. Seraphina touches her glowing Bloodstone pendant. She tells Damian to report to his father that she rejects their blood oath because he is unworthy. When Seraphina turns to walk away, Celeste charges to strike her, but Seraphina catches her hand and slaps her face.

    Seraphina places her fingers on her glowing Bloodstone pendant. She addresses Damian firmly. She orders him to tell his father that she rejects their arranged blood oath because he is not worthy of her. The watching crowd stands frozen in shock.
