The Godfather's Amnesiac Bride: Recap by Episode

1. EP 1: Left in the Ashes

Mariana stands at the altar with Michael when the chandelier snaps. Fire tears through the chapel. Hearing Cersei cry about an injured leg, Michael abandons Mariana trapped under the heavy wreckage. She watches her fiancé leave her to burn. As Mariana loses consciousness, the feared Mafia Godfather Romano strides through the flames to reach her side.

2. EP 2: The Godfather's Shield

Romano lifts the burning chandelier off Mariana and carries her out. A falling timber strikes Romano across the back as he protects her body. The building explodes behind them. Three days later, Mariana lies comatose in Romano's mansion. Romano cools her fever while she murmurs for rescue. As he turns to leave, she awakens and addresses him as Honey.

3. EP 3: The Lightning Mark

Mariana pulls out her IV needle and walks into the hallway. She witnesses Romano execute a traitor in his study. When she stumbles, Romano catches her. Mariana notices a lightning-shaped birthmark on his hand. A childhood memory flashes back where a wounded boy promised to marry her using that exact mark. Convinced he is that boy, she embraces him and calls him husband.

4. EP 4: A Twenty-Year Secret

Mariana collapses from head pain. Romano carries her back to bed and summons Dr. William. Felix worries that society will explode if the adopted son's girlfriend calls the adoptive father her husband. Dr. William explains Mariana has amnesia from oxygen deprivation. The doctor points out that Romano has loved Mariana for twenty years. Romano vows to protect her choice.

5. EP 5: The Scandal Breaks

Mariana wakes with chest pain and ignores an incoming call from Michael. Romano brings breakfast and prepares to tell her the truth. Across town, Michael sits in a car mocking Mariana with her stepsister. His father Carlos violently pulls the stepsister out and strikes them both. Carlos rages that ruining the wedding with the Montenegro heiress sent their family stock into freefall.

6. EP 6: A Refusal to Turn Back

Carlos threatens to disown Michael unless he wins Mariana back. In Romano's bedroom, Romano tries to explain Mariana's amnesia and confesses Michael was her fiancé. Mariana refuses to let him finish. She pulls Romano into a kiss. She tells him she only cares about the man in front of her, ignoring Michael's ringing phone.

7. EP 7: The Proposal

Romano tries to explain his identity. Mariana cuts him off, stating her heart chooses him. Romano warns her that his hands are covered in blood and there is no return once he agrees. Mariana answers by proposing to him. Romano accepts. They hold each other close while Michael's repeated phone calls buzz unnoticed beside the bed.

8. EP 8: Wiping the Past

Mariana tells Romano that marrying him means never looking back. Riding in his car, she resets her phone to factory settings. She erases every photograph and message tied to her past. Michael discovers her social media profiles are completely wiped clean. Arrogantly assuming it is a childish stunt for attention, Michael sets off for the Montenegro mansion to retrieve her.

9. EP 9: Mrs. Dels

Romano and Mariana sign their marriage documents at the registry office. Romano corrects the clerk, claiming her as Mrs. Dels. They return to the Montenegro house so Mariana can pack.
