Red lightning crashes near the brides. Ares warns Cecilia that her entire race faces doom. Across the realm, red lightning destroys the golden statue of the God-King, leaving the Angel King weeping in the city center. Marcel drops from the sky with robed followers and smashes the thundercloud apart. The brides praise Marcel's power, and Marcel insults Ares as a farmer. Cecilia rejects Ares completely and kisses Marcel in the open.

Episode 5 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Red Lightning and the Warning

    Red lightning strikes the ground near the brides. Cecilia deflects a blast using her wings and sneers at the peasant. Ares tells her that a real curse now targets all angels, warning that she has doomed her entire race.

  2. 00:36: Fall of the Golden Statue

    In the Angel Kingdom, red lightning strikes the central plaza. The bolt shatters the golden statue of the God-King into pieces. The Angel King falls to his knees in tears, wondering aloud if the God-King has abandoned his people.

  3. 00:57: Marcel Smashes the Storm

    Marcel descends from the sky surrounded by golden light and robed followers. He flies directly into the gathering thundercloud and wipes it out. Descending to the clearing, Marcel mocks Ares for attempting to frighten the angels with an empty curse.

  4. 01:29: Cecilia Kisses the Heir

    The gathered brides praise Marcel for his power and demigod rank. Marcel insults Ares, calling him a filthy farmer who owns nothing. Cecilia turns to Marcel, openly professes her love for him, and kisses him in front of Ares.
