Episode 1 Scene by Scene

1. 00:00: No Money for Surgery

Amy Winters stands in Oscar's hospital room. The doctor tells her Oscar's operation counts as elective and demands cash upfront. Amy breaks down in tears because she has an empty bank account and no family left to ask for help.

2. 00:41: A Blocked Call

Amy stays beside Oscar's bedside. Her phone rings from a blocked number. The unknown speaker promises to fund Oscar's entire operation immediately. The caller instructs Amy to go up to the hospital rooftop alone right now.

3. 00:56: The Rooftop Deal

Amy walks out into the pouring rain and finds Solus waiting. He pulls out a contract stamped with a dragon seal. Solus says he will fund all of Oscar's medical bills if unbonded Amy agrees to marry him.

4. 02:04: Signed and Sealed

Amy signs her name on the contract. A glowing arcane seal burns into the skin over her chest, and Solus's eyes turn bright orange. The doctor calls Amy's phone to report that the full payment arrived and surgery has started.

5. 02:18: The Dragon King Reveals Himself

Amy asks the stranger for his real identity. Black smoke billows around Solus's body on the rooftop. He shifts into an enormous black dragon before her eyes and announces his royal name to his new human bride.
