Frank calls the staff together to promote Alice to full-time caretaker. He grants her a ten-thousand-dollar monthly wage, car privileges, and a bedroom right next to Noble. Bernard questions the sudden jump, but Frank insists. Later, Alice cleans the mansion and garden alongside Noble while Frank watches her. In the kitchen, Alice answers Noble's complaints aloud. Frank walks in and hears her. She lies about reciting a recipe, but Frank walks away unconvinced.

  1. 00:00: Frank Promotes Alice to Full-Time

    Frank gathers the household staff in the foyer to announce Alice's new position. He gives her a ten-thousand-dollar monthly wage, access to the mansion cars, and a room beside Noble. Bernard questions the promotion, but Frank overrules his hesitation.

  2. 00:51: Alice Works Alongside Noble

    Alice tends the garden and cleans the mansion hallways in good spirits. Noble follows her through each room during her chores. Up above, Frank stands inside the mansion and watches Alice work while keeping his eyes on her.

  3. 01:06: Frank Catches Alice in the Kitchen

    Alice prepares chicken breast in the kitchen and speaks back to Noble's complaints. Frank unexpectedly steps into the room and asks who she is speaking with. Panicking on the spot, Alice claims she was simply reciting a dish recipe.

  4. 01:34: Fear and Suspicion in the Hallway

    Frank exits the kitchen, and Alice drops to the floor in panic over childhood trauma about her ability. Meanwhile, Frank walks down the hallway smiling to himself, knowing her excuse about the recipe made no sense at all.
