1. 00:00: Waking Up to a Marriage Certificate

   Elaine opens her eyes and discovers a marriage certificate resting on her chest. Nathan stands over her with Arthur nearby. He claims she befriended Grandpa Charles in the sanitarium for money, while Elaine suddenly recognizes who Nathan's grandfather is.

2. 00:20: Elaine Fights Nathan and Flees

   Nathan grips Elaine by the jaw and states this marriage only exists to satisfy his sick grandfather. Refusing to let him control her future, Elaine bites down hard on his hand, pulls away from his grip, and runs for the bedroom exit.

3. 00:43: A Hostage in the Hospital

   At the doorway, Nathan flashes a live phone stream of Elaine's sick mother in bed. He announces that the doctors have terminated her mother's care. Elaine loses all will to fight and begs Nathan to intervene and save her life.
