Episode 6 recap

Ayla wakes from a vision where her sight is restored, only to discover Lumi is gone. A magical spirit deer turns into a boy and explains Fenris took Lumi to the north. The boy opens a portal for Ayla to follow. Meanwhile, Lumi jumps into a palace pool to rescue Ronan. When Lumi explains her mother was blinded by a blade, Ronan decides she cannot be Ayla's child and rejects her completely.

Episode 6 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Vision by the Glowing Tree

    Ayla stands in a mystical dreamscape beside a glowing tree. A voice commands her to open her eyes. She unties her blindfold and suddenly sees the vibrant world around her, right before the voice tells her to wake up.

  2. 00:19: A Portal to the North

    Ayla wakes up inside her cabin and discovers Lumi has vanished. Outside, a magical spirit deer shifts into a young boy. He informs Ayla that Fenris took the girl, then opens a portal so she can travel north to find her.

  3. 00:59: Rescue in the Hot Spring

    Ronan rests underwater in a hot spring pool, brooding over his memories of Ayla. Believing he is drowning, Lumi suddenly leaps into the deep water to save him. Ronan pulls the little girl safely to the surface himself.

  4. 01:54: Ronan Rejects His Daughter

    At the edge of the pool, Ronan asks how Lumi's mother lost her sight. When Lumi says a blade caused it, Ronan assumes she cannot be Ayla, who was born blind. He rejects Lumi, who storms away in tears.

Spirit deer boy · He tells Ayla what happened to Lumi right outside her cabin.

“I was scared you'd die! I just finally found my dad.”

Lumi · She cries out after jumping into the hot spring pool to save Ronan.

“Ayla was born blind. Lumi's mother isn't. Then you aren't my daughter.”

Ronan · He reacts to Lumi saying an enemy's blade blinded her mother.

“Fine! You don't want to admit I'm your daughter, I'll leave tomorrow!”

Lumi · She yells at Ronan before running away from the hot spring pool.

How Episode 6 Ends

Crushed by Ronan's cruel rejection, Lumi storms away from the hot spring and vows to leave the palace the next morning. Ronan stays behind in the water, looking distressed as he reaches out after her. Will Lumi actually run away before Ayla arrives through the magical portal to find her?
