Kane Vance works on a car wheel inside his repair shop. Three poachers arrive in a black SUV demanding quick service. Kane spots a trapped bear cub in their vehicle and snatches a fired rifle bullet straight from the air. He orders the frightened men to run away. Kane returns home to hug his daughter Lily. Later that evening, he pulls out a silenced pistol when an old comrade wearing an eye patch arrives outside his front door.

Episode 1 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Opening the Garage

    Kane unlocks Vance's Auto Repair for the day. He walks over to a car and starts working quietly on a wheel hub.

  2. 00:19: Catching the Bullet

    Three men pull up in a black SUV demanding service. Kane spots a trapped bear cub inside their trunk. A hunter discharges a rifle, but Kane catches the flying 7.62 bullet in his bare hand.

  3. 00:54: Scaring Off Poachers

    Kane corners the men inside the shop office. He threatens them with federal charges and sheriff custody. The men abandon their Range Rover and flee on foot.

  4. 01:18: A Drawing from Lily

    Lily walks into the house and hands Kane a portrait she made of him. Kane smiles, wraps her in a warm hug, and tells her he keeps his smiles just for her.

  5. 01:55: Late Night Visitor

    Kane checks a hidden ring in his bedroom drawer. Footsteps sound outside, so he grabs a silenced handgun. Through the peephole, Marcus stands on the porch holding drinks.
