Reborn at Five,He Wields the Thunder God's Hammer: Recap by Episode

1. EP 1: The Fall of Valhalla

Dark Elf warships strike the Rainbow Bridge in force. Saul descends with his lightning hammer and destroys the enemy fleet, forcing Eorl to retreat. The victory is an illusion. Saul rushes into Valhalla and finds his mother mortally wounded on the floor. His lightning magic cannot close her injuries. She tells him raw strength cannot fix everything before Saul swears vengeance against Eorl.

2. EP 2: A God Reborn

Queen Frigga begs Saul to abandon hatred before her body turns to glowing dust. Consumed by failure, Saul casts himself into exile, casts off his armor, and releases his divine weapon. In a distant cottage, a sister prays over her dying five-year-old brother. Frigga's spirit marks the boy's forehead with a golden laurel. Lightning crashes through the ceiling, reviving the child with Saul's soul.

3. EP 3: The Fallen Hammer

The Thunder God's hammer crashes into an earth crater miles away. Saul wakes up in bed, cared for by his new sister Serena. To protect her, he decides to hide his identity and avoids practicing magic. Three years later, house guards warn that Lord Magnus may target Saul for his lack of power. Saul picks up a stick and aims it skyward, summoning thunderclouds.

4. EP 4: The Shattered Crystal

Serena demonstrates her healing magic and asks Saul to test his mana on a testing crystal. Saul touches the stone and walks away when nothing appears to happen. Moments later, the crystal explodes into pieces from internal electrical pressure. Victor and the Wald patriarch inspect the wreckage. They conclude an Archmage walked through their gates and order an immediate search for the lightning user.

5. EP 5: The Council Challenge

House Wald summons an emergency meeting after failing to find the mysterious Archmage. Saul hints at his true power, which provokes an angry outburst from Victor. The patriarch demands that Serena surrender the Vester territory because she and Saul lack magic status. Serena refuses to surrender her parents' land. When the patriarch calls for trial by combat, Serena steps forward and accepts the match.

6. EP 6: Blood in the Arena

A red-armored fire warrior steps into the ring to seize the Vester territory. Serena's loyal guards, Gareth and Kyle, enter combat to shield their masters. The fire warrior easily blocks their attacks, catches an energy blade bare-handed, and traps both men in a lethal hold. Saul watches their loyalty in shock. Blue sparks begin crackling across the boy's fingertips.

7. EP 7: Stepping Forward

The opponent crushes Kyle and beats Gareth into the ground with a flaming fist. The blond fighter gives Serena one chance to yield or watch Saul die. Serena prepares to enter the ring herself, but Saul stops her. He tells her she cannot defeat this warrior, but he can. Saul ignores his child persona and steps directly onto the glowing rune circle.

8. EP 8: The Awakened Hammer

Serena refuses to let Saul fight. She hugs him and enters the ring herself, manifesting magical shields. Saul remembers his mother dying in Asgard as Serena takes brutal blows from energy blades. Across the land, his surging grief stirs the hammer in the crater, gathering storm clouds above the ring. Serena collapses covered in blood as the blond fighter readies a killing fireball.
