Ryan defeats Frank Dalton in the drinking match. Frank hugs him like a brother and promises to sign the contract tomorrow. After Frank drives away, Ryan collapses against a tree outside. Olivia walks over, and Ryan confuses her with an angel. He admits he drank to keep his job and provide for his wife. A furious, tipsy Olivia tells Claire to fire the sales director, then gently cradles Ryan's aching head.

  1. 00:00: Drinking Contest with Frank Dalton

    Ryan outdrinks Frank Dalton inside the private dining room. Frank is thoroughly impressed by the new recruit. He embraces Ryan as a brother and promises to sign the business contract the next morning at his office.

  2. 00:47: Ryan Slumps by the Tree

    Ryan walks Frank outside and watches his car depart into the night. Once the client leaves, Ryan stumbles over to a curbside tree. Exhaustion and severe nausea hit him immediately, and he slumps heavily against the trunk.

  3. 01:02: Ryan's Drunken Confession

    Olivia approaches Ryan by the tree. He drunkenly mistakes her for an angel. She asks why he risked his life for a single project. Ryan explains that he cannot lose his job because he must support his wife.

  4. 01:49: Olivia Orders an Immediate Firing

    Ryan's words stir Olivia's anger on his behalf. Feeling drunk and protective, the CEO turns to Claire on the sidewalk. Olivia commands her assistant to terminate the sales director immediately for dumping the difficult client on a new hire.

  5. 02:31: Claire Records a Tender Moment

    Olivia returns to Ryan at the curbside. She tenderly cradles his face in both hands and offers to massage his aching head. Claire pulls out her smartphone and records video of the CEO behaving gently while drunk.
