Kyle and Dramor retreat to Dragonveil Valley. They resolve to enter the Valen clan tournament in seven days to take back Kyle's birthright. While training inside an abandoned quarry, they face a massive adult stonehide bear. Kyle spots its vulnerabilities and directs Dramor to target its eyes and jaw. They bring the beast down together. An armored captain discovers the carcass, locking down the area to hunt the mystery fighter.
