Kane's subordinate reports that bullies relentlessly tormented Ian, shielded by fathers on the school board and administration. They also spread false claims that Ian assaulted Morton's girlfriend Alyssa. Kane refuses to believe the slander. Recognizing their identical faces, Kane orders Ian's clothes and schoolbooks. He resolves to infiltrate Montford disguised as his brother so he can make the bullies pay with his own hands.
