Episode 4 recap

Serena searches the dark woods for Raymond and battles vicious shadow beasts with a sword. She takes wounds during the fight. She finally breaks through into a sunlit meadow, where she catches Raymond embracing Firina on the grass. Raymond approaches his crying wife. He confesses his noble elven rank and states he only used her restorative brew to break his punishment. Then Firina demands Serena kneel, triggering Serena's outrage.

Episode 4 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Fighting in the Dark Woods

    Serena tracks Raymond through the dark forest. Hostile shadow beasts surround her on all sides. She grips her sword and cuts through them. The monsters inflict injuries across her body as she presses forward to rescue her missing husband.

  2. 00:20: Betrayal in the Meadow

    Serena clears the dangerous tree line and walks into a bright, sunlit flower meadow. Instead of finding a captive Raymond in danger, she spots him lying on the grass. He is locked in a passionate, intimate embrace with Firina.

  3. 00:57: Raymond Reveals the Truth

    Raymond walks over to the weeping Serena without sympathy. He tells her that he is an elf noble whose blood was stripped as a penalty. He married Serena solely because her brew could restore his power over five long years.

  4. 01:31: Firina Demands Total Submission

    Firina walks toward Serena in the meadow. She looks down at the heartbroken human and orders her to kneel down and kiss her foot. Firina tells Serena she will become their servant, which provokes a furious cry from Serena.
