Episode 2 recap

Kael stands at the edge of a snowy canyon above a dark abyss filled with glowing red eyes. He releases a sphere of light down into the pit. The blast creates a blinding pillar that wipes out the monsters and restores fresh greenery across the frozen ground. A soldier in green cries tears of joy. Kael then flies across the ice to meet Master Vane on a mountain summit.

Episode 2 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Light in the Canyon

    Kael stares down into a dark abyss filled with glowing red eyes. He drops a glowing sphere of light straight into the canyon. A blinding pillar erupts, completely obliterating the monster horde below and spreading fresh green grass across the frozen dirt.

  2. 00:13: Cheers on the Overlook

    A young soldier wearing a green cloak looks down at the cleared canyon from the overlook. Tears of joy run down his face. He loudly shouts in celebration as he witnesses the Nightblade win a decisive victory over the monsters.

  3. 00:17: Meeting on the Summit

    Kael transforms into a beam of light, streaks across the icy terrain, and touches down on a snowy mountain summit. He kneels before Master Vane. Vane raises his disciple up and shares news about the banished Darkblood Clan returning to the realm.

“Cross my territory and live? Keep dreaming.”

Kael · Kael says this before dropping the light sphere to wipe out the abyss horde.

“The Nightblade just kicked those monsters' asses!”

How Episode 2 Ends

Master Vane lifts Kael up on the snowy mountain summit and delivers a grim warning. The ancient Darkblood Clan has broken their hundred-year exile and started crawling back. Their return threatens to plunge the entire Empire into war. How will Kael respond to his master's warning, and what is his next move against this returning threat?
