   Kyle endures the trial and gains the upper hand. He overcomes the massive monster in the combat zone. Instead of falling, Kyle forces the giant creature to yield. The beast lowers its head and bows directly before him.

   The spectators shout in excitement after the beast bows down. The Queen stands on the balcony watching the arena floor. She turns to Celon and mocks him. She tells the young prince that cheers cost nothing, but crowns do.

   The noise of the spectators fades across the arena. The camera focuses downward on the ground. A severed iron chain rests abandoned upon the arena dust. The cracked metal link sits motionless near the edge of the pit.
