Mia corners Elena with wine and claims she only sought Lorenzo Rossi's protection. Elena remembers her neglected childhood, her training with Uncle Luca, and Don Moretti choosing her for Dante Vitale. Back at the party, Elena asks Lorenzo to retrieve the lily brooch from Mia. Lorenzo refuses, pins Elena against a wall by her throat, and insults her. Elena storms outside into Uncle Luca's car and prepares for New York.

Episode 3 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Mia Confronts Elena

    Mia approaches Elena in the ballroom with a glass of wine. She speaks softly and claims Elena already possesses everything in life. Mia insists she only wanted Lorenzo's protection and did not mean to steal Elena's spotlight.

  2. 00:21: Flashbacks of the Past

    Elena remembers her childhood as an ignored bastard in the Moretti family. She recalls asking Uncle Luca to teach her how to fight in a boxing gym. Then she remembers Don Moretti selecting her to be Dante Vitale's sacrifice in New York.

  3. 01:09: A Cold Message and Taunts

    Uncle Luca sends Elena a blunt text message telling her to resolve the situation on her own. Mia remains nearby in the ballroom. She smiles and gloats to Elena about the true matchmaking nature of the formal evening.

  4. 01:25: Lorenzo's Violent Outburst

    Lorenzo returns, and Elena asks him to take the lily brooch back from Mia. Lorenzo refuses to change his mind. When Elena confronts him, Lorenzo grabs her throat against the ballroom wall and calls her his little follower.

  5. 02:14: Demands to End the Scene

    Mia acts innocent while standing beside them. Lorenzo orders Elena to stop causing trouble in front of the guests. He tells Elena that Mia will return to her ordinary life the following morning, dismissing Elena's complaints entirely.

  6. 02:26: Departure in Luca's Car

    Elena storms out of the ballroom and climbs into Uncle Luca's waiting car outside. Luca tells her to accept defeat because her New York departure happens tomorrow. Elena looks ahead and states that she will return.
