Episode 3 Scene by Scene

1. 00:00: Panic at the Fountain Plaza

A sharp screech of car brakes rings out by the hotel fountain in the light rain. The noise triggers Madeline's traumatic memories of her car crash from five years ago. She freezes on the spot and turns completely pale.

2. 00:15: Declan Rushes to Shield Madeline

Declan reacts on instinct and pulls Madeline into his arms to shield her. Once he notices that a car only brushed the guardrail, his expression turns cold. He abruptly shakes off Madeline's hand as she grips his coat sleeve.

3. 00:34: Harsh Words in the Rain

Declan mocks Madeline for remaining fragile like a greenhouse flower. Madeline agrees and lies that her cowardice caused their past breakup. Declan sneers, reminds her that she is just a hired service provider for his wedding, and walks away.

4. 01:00: A Broken Promise from the Past

Declan walks away into the rain as his past vow to marry only Madeline echoes in her mind. Madeline stares at his retreating back with tearful eyes. She whispers quietly to herself about how the wedding should have been hers.
