Kane accuses Ava of acting and pulls an old photo from his desk. A flashback shows Kane leaving a ring and note outside room 881. Vivian intercepts him, spots Ava asleep, and shows him a photo. She calls Ava a scammer targeting older CEOs. Believing the lie, Kane crumples the photo and leaves. Back in the present, Kane shows Ava the picture. Ava cries, laughs bitterly, and tells him the man is her father.

Episode 6 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: A Hidden Photo in the Desk

    Kane accuses Ava of putting on an act the entire time. He opens his office desk drawer and reaches inside. He pulls out a hidden photograph to confront Ava with his proof.

  2. 00:11: Vivian Intercepts Kane at the Hotel

    In a flashback, Kane leaves a note and a ring outside room 881. Vivian arrives and sees Ava sleeping inside the suite. She angrily gives Kane a photograph, claiming Ava is a scammer targeting wealthy old executives.

  3. 01:34: Kane Walks Away from Ava

    Kane believes Vivian's words about Ava. He crumples the photograph in his hand and walks away down the hallway, leaving Ava behind. Vivian watches Kane leave and smirks in the corridor.

  4. 01:55: Ava Identifies Her Father

    Back in the present office, Kane displays the photograph to Ava and explains why he left. Ava stares at the picture. She laughs bitterly through her tears and states the older man is her father.
