Landon discards his suit jacket on the manor driveway and leaves with Aurora. A flashback shows Landon as a teenager, promising his father to protect young Leila Sinclair forever. Outside in the present, Rose Smith picks Leila up in her red sports car. Leila becomes sick during the drive, making Rose suspect a pregnancy. Meanwhile, Landon buys Aurora a penthouse. Leila and Rose enter the mall and see Aurora kissing Landon.

    Leila steps over Landon's jacket. Rose Smith arrives in a red sports car, snaps photos of Leila, and invites her out. During the ride, Leila suddenly retches. Rose asks if she is pregnant, but Leila states she takes daily birth control.
