Lia wakes up, stabs Raymond's arm, and runs onto the flagship of Duke Kane. Kane slices Raymond's ear and casts the criminal into the harbor. Kane tells Lia she is safe, but a sudden storm wave strikes the vessel. The surge sweeps Lia over the ship railing into the water.

3. EP 3: Washed Ashore

A naval officer casts a net into the churning sea to rescue Lia, but the drag pulls him into the water too. They wash ashore tangled in the ropes. Burning up from the spiked drink, Lia begs for help. They share the night on the sand before she wakes up alone with a stranger.

5. EP 5: The Suspended Rope

Lia offers to mend torn sails for the Black Tide Fleet to earn money for Noah. The boatswain spots her Storm Island mark, calls her a thief, and orders guards to hoist her over the water on a crane rope. Kane returns by rowboat and flings a dagger at the rope.

6. EP 6: The Sailmaker's Test

Kane catches Lia, brings her aboard, and orders a stitching test. Lia mends the canvas cleanly, earning Kane's praise. He exiles the corrupt crewman and hires Lia for 500 gold coins a day. When she slips near a swinging cargo chest, Kane catches her, and both suspect they met at sea.

7. EP 7: The Carved Sheath

Vera presents Kane with a dagger sheath marked with an 'L' stolen from Lia's belongings, demanding to be his fiancée. Kane sends her to his estate but doubts her claims. He orders his officer to investigate Vera. The officer questions a harbor contact, who names Lia as the woman taken that night.

8. EP 8: The Bone Needle

Vera bribes a witness to tell Kane's men that she was the woman taken from the harbor. Lia mends sails all night under a strict boss to secure her daily pay. Kane inspects the pile of repaired canvas on deck. Lia pulls out her bone needle carved with an 'L', stunning the Duke.

9. EP 9: Chaos in the Cabin

At Kane's estate, Vera uses blue coral medicine for a foot bath and scalds Doctor Martha. Kane rebukes Vera and leaves. On the flagship, Lia is sent into the Duke's quarters to repair a battle flag. She walks in on Kane bathing, slips on the floor, and tumbles directly into his arms.
