Silent Dad, Chatty Fairy: Recap by Episode

1. EP 1: The Mountain Farewell

Lyra talks so much that the mountain beast Snowball flees in terror. Her sect brothers scatter, and the master falls off his cloud. To escape her chatter, the master gives Lyra half a jade pendant and sends her down the mountain to find her father, the Prince of Evergard. Snowball carries her away. The master then admits Lucian was Eldoria's greatest War God whose fate was stolen. Inside his estate, Lucian sits in a wheelchair and cuts his wrist.

2. EP 2: The Empress and the Pendant

Lyra lands in the mortal realm and turns Snowball into a small white puppy. A severe storm hits a mountain road, where the Empress's carriage skids over a cliff edge. Lyra casts a glowing talisman spell that lifts the carriage back onto firm ground. She tells the Empress to stay safe and rushes off, accidentally dropping her jade pendant. The Empress picks up the pendant, recognizes it as Lucian's token, and orders her carriage to his estate.

3. EP 3: Sneaking into the Estate

Lyra reaches the Aurelius estate and asks the gatekeeper to let her see her father. The old man refuses and shuts the door. Lyra and her dog crawl through a gap in the boundary wall instead. She slips into Lucian's bedroom and finds him slumped in a wheelchair. A knife lies on the floor, and blood pools beneath his slashed wrist. A faint voice warns Lyra that she arrived too late to save him.

4. EP 4: Reversal and Expulsion

Lyra uses her magical powers to draw the spilled blood back into Lucian's wrist, closing the fatal wound completely. The elderly steward enters with medicine and drops his bowl in shock. Lucian regains consciousness and examines his unhurt arm. He recognizes Lyra from her relentless chatter, but he feels too weak and disabled to protect her. He gestures for the steward to remove her. Guards carry Lyra away just as an ornately dressed noblewoman arrives with soldiers.

5. EP 5: Royal Recognition

The Empress enters the courtyard and silences the household staff. She presents the jade pendant, declaring Lyra an imperial princess who deserves royal care. Lyra asks why her father tried to end his life. The Empress weeps as she recounts Lucian's past defeats, his blinded eyes, and his loss of speech. Lyra calculates his spiritual chart and realizes he was destined for victory, not ruin. She promises her grandmother that she will visit Lucian daily to talk.

6. EP 6: Spoiled Food Exposed

A malicious servant woman brings Lucian spoiled slop while saving rich stews for her spoiled grandson. Lucian rejects the bowl. In the room, the servant lies to the butler and claims she cooked hot meals all morning. Snowball knocks over her basket to reveal foul scraps. When the grandson barges in, Lyra uses magic on the boy's belly. He vomits the stolen banquets onto plates in front of the butler, exposing the pair's long abuse.

7. EP 7: The Taste of Sunshine

Lyra enchants the dishonest servants, forcing them to crawl into the yard and eat slop from a pig trough. After Butler Li departs, a poison vial slips from Lucian's wheelchair. Lyra inspects the lethal mixture, notes that it causes a dreadful death, and asks whom he plans to kill. Lucian hurls the vial into the courtyard pond. Lyra chats for two hours until Lucian breaks into a faint smile. She then announces she will push him outdoors.

8. EP 8: Stepping into the Garden

Butler Li warns Lyra that Lucian punished anyone who mentioned the outdoors during the past three years. Lyra ignores the warning and pushes the wheelchair into the sunlight anyway. Falling peach blossoms blow away the cloth covering Lucian's eyes, revealing his handsome features. Lyra resolves to expose the villains who ruined him. At the palace, an attendant reports that the Prince of Evergard finally left his dark room. The delighted Emperor immediately awards the estate gold and silk.

9. EP 9: Forced to the Feast

A royal eunuch invites Lucian and Lyra to an imperial flower banquet. Lucian turns his wheelchair away, refusing to attend. Lyra ignores his reluctance. She sticks an immobilization talisman onto his back and transports him to the palace gates. When she peels it off, Lucian races his wheelchair toward the exit, but Lyra slaps another talisman on him and wheels him inside. Butler Li watches with dread, revealing that Lucian avoids the palace because of the Crown Prince.

10. EP 10: Truth at the Banquet

Court officials shower the Crown Prince with praise for handling a recent flood. When Lucian arrives, the Crown Prince ridicules his disability and insults Lyra. Lyra fires back, stating the court offered her father the crown first. She casts a truth spell on the prince, forcing him to admit he embezzled disaster funds to build a solid gold toilet. Humiliated and furious, the Crown Prince grabs Lyra by the throat. The Emperor arrives and commands him to stop.
