She Returned Home with Her New Flame, And I Came Clean About My Identity as the Heir: Recap by Episode

1. EP 1: Billionaire in Uniform

Liam Wilson evades luxury cars on his motorcycle before his grandfather and sisters intercept him. They offer him black cards and warn him about gold-diggers, but Liam insists on working as a waiter. At the hotel, Liam buys a pearl necklace for Sofia. Her family arrives with Tyler to celebrate her birthday. Tyler spots Liam serving wine and points him out to Sofia's father, Robert Thompson, who orders the manager to make Liam serve them.

2. EP 2: The Reserved Terrace

Robert demands the best table overlooking Los Angeles, but staff stop the Thompson party because the area is reserved for the Wilson family. Robert flashes his VIP card and his relative threatens the manager. Liam arrives and spots Sophia. He gives the manager a silent nod, and she lets the group inside. The Thompsons assume their own name opened the doors and sneer at Liam, calling him a shameless freeloader for tagging along.

3. EP 3: The Broken Gift

Jack mocks Liam for serving them, but Sofia insists on introducing Liam to Robert and Jack. The family sneers at his status. Sofia ignores Jack and pulls Liam into a seat beside her. Liam presents the pearl necklace he bought for her birthday. Sofia loves the gift, but Robert and Jack call it cheap junk. Robert demands he put it away, while Jack mocks Liam for likely never tasting foie gras before.

4. EP 4: Family Interrogation

A guest orders French foie gras while Robert interrogates Liam about dropping out of school to wait tables. Robert brags about Sofia taking over Thompson Tech and mocks anyone without trust funds or connections. Liam explains that his grandfather and three sisters handle private investments. The wealthy dinner guests burst out laughing, sneering that poor families exist only to serve them. Liam listens in furious silence, clenching his fists under the table.

5. EP 5: The Discarded Pearls

Tyler trips a passing server, splashing hot soup across Robert's chest and blaming Liam. Robert panics about ruining his appearance for Charlotte Wilson's soirée. Liam lends Robert his high-end suit jacket. Robert secretly marvels at the cut before sending Liam to find a missing watch in the restroom. Sofia spots the watch on her father's wrist. In the restroom, Liam finds the pearl necklace discarded by the trash can with broken pearls scattered across the floor.

6. EP 6: A Parting Promise

Outside the hotel driveway, Liam tells Robert the watch was not in the restroom. Robert throws Liam's jacket in his face in disgust. Liam calmly reminds Robert that money cannot buy class or dignity. After Robert leaves, Sofia tearfully apologizes for her family's cruelty, promising she will always stand by Liam. They share a kiss. In his car, Robert vows to put Liam in his place and remove him from Sofia's life for good.

7. EP 7: The London Secret

Robert meets Liam at a café and slides a two-million-dollar check across the table, ordering him to leave Sofia. Liam pushes the money back, telling Robert that Sofia is priceless. When Liam asks if Robert ever looked into his family background, Robert laughs off the question. Robert then drops a shocking revelation: Sofia is leaving for London for three years, and she deliberately hid the departure from Liam.

8. EP 8: Superstar Sibling

A memory shows Sofia promising to marry Liam after finishing her degree in London. At the airport, Liam kisses Sofia goodbye before her father and brother push him aside. Sofia's brother boasts about high society, but Hollywood superstar Chloe arrives surrounded by fans. Jack assumes the celebrity is approaching him, but Chloe shoves past him. She throws her arms around Liam, warmly calling him her little brother in front of the stunned Thompsons.

9. EP 9: Betrayal in London

Liam launches Liasoft AI to give Sofia the CEO position upon her return. After he leaves, his sister informs Grandpa Wilson that Sofia is sleeping with Tyler Davis in London. Grandpa advises letting Liam learn through hardship. Liam calls Sofia, unaware Tyler is beside her in bed. Three years later, Liam holds the Liasoft AI equity agreement and a diamond ring, planning to propose and reveal his true identity at Sofia's homecoming party.

10. EP 10: The Public Betrayal

Liam enters the banquet hall carrying the equity contract for Liasoft AI. Thompson associates mock him as a dishwasher. Sofia takes the stage to announce her return, her executive role at Liasoft AI, and a partnership with the Thompsons. Sofia then announces her romantic proposal to the room. Liam expects his name, but Sofia publicly names Tyler Davis as her future husband. Liam stands frozen in total shock among the crowd.
