My Rival Got My Thirst Trap by Mistake: Recap by Episode

1. EP 1: The Torn Letter and the Thirst Trap

Ethan Miller watches Wolves hockey practice with a love letter for Julian Mercer. Rival captain Caleb Thorne steals the letter and reads it aloud before Ethan snatches it back, slaps him, and leaves. Julian offers gentle comfort in the hallway. Frustrated by online teasing, Ethan impulsively takes a shirtless photo showing his waist birthmark and texts it to Julian's contact. Caleb opens his phone and smirks at the mystery boy.

2. EP 2: Late Night Commands

Caleb reviews the photo, spots the birthmark, and decides to play along using the account he took on a bet. He texts back a photo of his own abs. Ethan is thrilled and sends an even bolder picture. Caleb gives explicit instructions over text, guiding Ethan to use ice across his chest and follow his commands. Ethan falls asleep. He believes his crush Julian actually wants him.

3. EP 3: An Accidental Kiss

Caleb interrupts Ethan and Julian in the hallway to mock Ethan. Moments later, a student traps Ethan inside a storage room. Ethan escapes through a ground-floor window and crashes directly onto Caleb on the lawn outside. The impact sends them tumbling onto the grass, where their lips crash together in a sudden kiss. Both boys freeze in utter shock. They stare at each other, stunned by the impact.

4. EP 4: Masquerade Invitation

Ethan wipes his mouth and argues with Caleb about the fall. Caleb shoves Ethan against a stone wall. He pins Ethan until Ethan calls him a pervert. Caleb smirks and walks off. A masquerade party flyer blows into Ethan's face. He snaps a picture and texts Julian asking to go together. The account replies with instructions for Ethan to wear a black collar tonight. Ethan prepares for the confession.

5. EP 5: Disguises and Collars

Ethan enters the crowded club wearing a black choker and lace mask. Caleb approaches him in a devil-horn mask. Caleb pulls Ethan close in a quiet corner and begins flirting aggressively. He praises Ethan for following collar orders. Ethan notes how different Julian sounds, but he leans into the bolder persona. During their close contact, Ethan feels a strange flash of familiarity that reminds him of his obnoxious neighbor.

6. EP 6: Security Busts the Party

Caleb holds Ethan against the wall until Ethan slips up and calls him Julian. Caleb freezes in disbelief. Before Ethan can explain his real identity, campus security raids the warehouse. The crowd panics and runs. Caleb unmasks outside and checks a text warning him about guards. He realizes the boy thought he was Julian, but he laughs off the idea that dorky Ethan could be that confident.

7. EP 7: Powder and Pranks

Ethan lifts weights in the gym while dreaming of joining the hockey team. Gavin Drake interrupts to insult his physique and hockey skills. Gavin tricks Ethan into lifting a rigged box, which explodes with colored powder all over him. A deceitful student hands Ethan a towel and directs him into a shower stall. The student smirks to himself. He knows he just walked Ethan straight into the varsity hockey locker room.

8. EP 8: Cornered in the Stall

Caleb finishes practice and enters the shower area. He pulls back the curtain to borrow soap, only to trap Ethan inside. Gavin and several teammates enter the room with phone cameras to film Ethan's humiliation. Ethan whispers that he was set up. Caleb tilts Ethan's chin up and offers to rescue him. Gavin walks down the row and rips back a curtain. He shouts that he caught Ethan.

9. EP 9: The Birthmark Reveal

Gavin opens Caleb's curtain, but Caleb blocks the view and orders the bullies to leave. A student checks under the stall for feet. Caleb hoists Ethan off the floor against his body. Ethan's feet stay hidden until Caleb threatens expulsion. The bullies run away. Caleb drops Ethan onto the tiles. Caleb looks down at Ethan's waist, spots the distinct birthmark, and instantly remembers the thirst trap photo.
