These individuals possess immense power and share a mystical, willing bond with their lords. Alden’s journey begins when he is sent to a desolate , dangerous frontier known as Duskreach, effectively a death sentence disguised as a lordship.
What hooks viewers is the tension between Alden and the powerful, magical women he encounters. The show keeps you watching to see if his developing , volatile lightning abilities will allow him to survive the sabotage of his own bloodline.
